The Vinewood StoryVinewood Farms' five parcels were purchased in 3 stages over 3 years, each parcel being acquired as a continuation in the growth of the vision. What first started as a 2.5 acre experimental workshop space, then added a 2.5 acre wooded section with three residential mobile homes in a triangle at one end, and eventually an adjoining 3 acre open area with 2 easily farmable acres and additional mobile sites was purchased to complete the almost 8 acre "L" shaped grouping. The primary goal and effort extended over the initial years involved clean-up and initial infrastructure being improved. Roads were re-graveled, re-defined, and groomed for more appropriate use. Two cement slab work areas were poured on the lower middle section, one with a semi-finished workshop facility built on the park edge, and the other prepped for an innovative wall building system. A number of projects were incubating at different stages of development -- inspiring more of an R&D facility than anything on large portions of the land. |

In recent months, 2 of the land's 3 primary owner-developers have moved on leaving a number of forks in Vinewood's evolutionary road. Many of the projects begun may transition to their next step, or be put on indefinite hold -- or even stopped altogether. Some which have yet to be initiated, may soon be brought to fruition.
